This policy outlines the conditions under which products purchased from Polishing Systems Inc. (“PSI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) may be returned or refunded, and the terms governing cancellations for our professional services.

1. Product Returns (E-commerce)

We want you to be completely satisfied with your pro-grade detailing products. If you need to return a product, please review the following conditions:

A. Eligibility for Returns

  • Timeline: Products may be returned within 30 days of the original purchase date.
  • Condition: Items must be unused, unopened, and in their original packaging to qualify for a full refund.
  • Proof of Purchase: A receipt or proof of purchase is required for all returns.

B. Non-Returnable Items (Exceptions)

The following items cannot be returned due to the nature of the products:

  • Opened Chemicals/Liquids: Once the seal is broken on any chemical, coating, or liquid product, it cannot be returned.
  • Custom Orders: Any products custom-made, custom-mixed, or specially ordered.
  • Used Tools/Pads: Any consumable tools, pads, or accessories that have been used.
  • Gift Cards: Gift cards are non-refundable.

C. Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for covering the shipping costs for returning items. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

2. Refunds and Processing

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Approved Refunds: If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 7–10 business days.
  • Partial Refunds: Partial refunds may be granted for items that are not in their original condition, are damaged, or are missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

3. Service Cancellation Policy

This section applies to all booked professional services, including Ceramic Coating, Auto Detailing, Boat Detailing, and Window Tinting.

A. Deposit Forfeiture

  • A non-refundable deposit (as specified at the time of booking) is required to secure all appointments.
  • If you cancel or attempt to reschedule your appointment with less than 48 hours notice, your deposit will be forfeited.

B. Rescheduling

  • You may reschedule your appointment once without penalty if the request is made more than 48 hours before the scheduled service time.
  • Subsequent reschedules or requests made inside the 48-hour window may require a new deposit.

C. Service Results

  • We guarantee our workmanship. If you are dissatisfied with the quality of service upon pickup, you must notify a PSI manager before leaving the premises so we can immediately address your concern.
  • Refunds are not offered on completed services. However, we will work diligently to correct any deficiencies in the service performed.

4. Damaged or Defective Products

If you receive a product that is damaged during shipping or defective upon arrival, we will replace the item at no cost to you.

  • Please contact us immediately (within 48 hours of delivery) at the email below, including a description of the damage and photographic evidence.
  • We will provide instructions and cover the shipping costs for the replacement.
